Terms & Conditions of Patronage
Please review these terms governing the acquisition of handloom pieces from the Kota Dori atelier.
1. Nature of Handloom Products
Kota Doria pieces are handwoven on traditional wooden pit looms by rural master weavers. Minor natural variations in slubs, yarn tension, khat symmetry, dye depth, and selvedge edge finish are the intrinsic hallmarks of genuine human craft and are not classified as defects.
2. Color Representation
While we capture all photographs in calibrated studio daylight to reflect true tonal depth, actual fabric color may vary subtly due to monitor calibration and mobile screen display gamut.
3. Pricing & Taxes
All prices displayed on the storefront are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST 5% on handloom textiles). We reserve the right to correct typographical pricing anomalies prior to order dispatch.
4. Jurisdiction
Any disputes or legal proceedings arising out of transactions on this platform shall be subject exclusively to the courts of Kota, Rajasthan, India.
